The new Cinnamon Twist collection from Wilmington Batiks is featured in this dramatic quilt project. The batik colors include warm browns and tans, as well as some gold, black, cream and bluish gray. The 96 x 99 Cinnamon Twist queen quilt has a side drop of about 18. Its built with 9 blocks set on-point with 3 x 9 sashing blocks and 3 cornerstones. Its finished with simple outer borders. This sampler-style quilt is one that most confident beginners and certainly those with moderate experience will enjoy. There is also a separate kit available to make TWO queen-size pillow shams designed to coordinate with this quilt in a separate listing!NOTE: THIS IS THE KIT VERSION OF THIS QUILT AND NOT THE BLOCK OF THE MONTH!The kit contains a color copy of the Cinnamon Twist pattern/instructions by Wilmington Batiks along with enough fabric to complete the Queen Size Quilt top as shown in picture 1. This kit contains all fabrics required for the top of the quilt and edge binding. BACKING AND BATTING WILL NEED TO BE PURCHASED SEPARATELY.The overall finished size of this quilt is 96 x 99.Picture 2 shows all the fabrics included in this kit, pictures 3 thru 9 show most of the block styles you will make for this project, and picture 10 shows the coordinating pillow sham kit available under SKU AAFQK-1407 while supplies last. There are no substituted fabrics in either of these kits!8-7/8 yards is recommended for backing fabric assuming a standard 44/45 width or 3-1/8 yards if using a 108 backing fabric. Additional fabric could be needed if using a directional print or for pattern design matching. Backing fabric and batting are NOT included in this kit.Over 20-1/8 yards of fabric is included with the kit along with the pattern.
